As the Resident Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive, safe, and empowering environment for individuals on their recovery journey. You will work directly with residents, providing guidance, resources, and support to help them succeed in their recovery and life goals.
Key Responsibilities:🔹 Program Management and Oversight
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the recovery housing program
- Ensure that residents adhere to program guidelines and house rules
- Monitor and track resident progress toward individual recovery goals
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary
- Conduct regular check-ins with residents to assess needs and provide ongoing support
- Develop personalized recovery plans for each resident in collaboration with the case management team
- Connect residents with community resources, employment opportunities, and health services
- Lead individual and group discussions focused on personal growth, recovery, and life skills development
- Facilitate referrals for mental health, substance use treatment, and other support services as needed
- Lead life skills workshops on topics such as budgeting, time management, and relationship building
- Plan and implement group activities that promote socialization, wellness, and community building
- Support residents in their pursuit of educational and vocational goals, including job readiness and interview preparation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident participation, progress, and incidents
- Assist in the preparation of reports for funders, donors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all program policies and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with other program staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, updates, and strategies for program improvement
- Contribute to the development of program materials, resources, and outreach efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a residential, recovery, or social services setting
- Strong understanding of addiction recovery, mental health, and trauma-informed care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with individuals in recovery
- Crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
